Taylor Awards

Each year, the Pelican State Pachyderm Club honors a member that has demonstrated leadership to local Republicans. The Republican Leadership Award was first awarded to Patrick F. Taylor in 2005. Mr. Taylor died before he was given the award. The Pachyderm Club Board met with Mr. Taylor's widow, and with her blessing, renamed the award The Patrick F. Taylor Republican Leadership Award.

The 2009 Patrick F. Taylor Republican Leadership Award was given to Larry Katz.
